Art of the Rural Now Accepting Applications for Summer and Fall Interns


Are you passionate about rural places? Have you been looking for an opportunity to work across the field of rural arts and culture? Would you enjoy the opportunity to build relationships with cultural organizations in communities small and large across the nation? If yes, the Art of the Rural internship program might be for you!

The Art of the Rural internship program welcomes current students, recent graduates, and interested individuals who wish to supplement their educational experience by working with a national rural arts organization. Art of the Rural internships offer experiential education in an exciting, digital environment in exchange for a substantive contribution from gifted individuals who are passionate about cultural equity and contributing to a more diverse, inclusive arts environment.

Atlas of Rural Arts and Culture Community Partnership Internship

Year of the Rural Arts Events and Editorial Internship

The summer internship deadline is May 2, 2014. Applications may be submitted electronically by emailing and attaching your application form, resume, a letter of recommendation, and any additional materials by the appropriate deadline.
