With the Honoring Dakota Project, join Art of the Rural Fellow Jasmine Fiddler for an evening of storytelling & practicing the traditional arts of making an ozuha (oh-zoo you-ha - medicine pouch)! You will learn how to make a pouch, how to bead on it, and how to use it.
Jasmine Fiddler is Mnicoujou/Lakota from the Cheyenne River Sioux tribe located in Eagle Butte South Dakota. She is a third-generation Native artist in regalia making along with Native American pow wow dancing, and has been living in Red Wing, MN, for almost 2 decades.
